Thank you for downloading SlushBus!

SlushBus is a dynamic levelling and gain-riding processor that continuously
adjusts the level of one signal to match a reference target, with full control
over attack, release, threshold, and transient behaviour.

INSTALLATION
----------------------------------------

Windows:
  VST3 destination: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
  CLAP destination: C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP

macOS (VST3):
  Copy SlushBus.vst3 to:
  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

macOS (AU):
  Copy SlushBus.component to:
  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

macOS (CLAP):
  Copy SlushBus.clap to:
  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/CLAP

Restart your DAW and rescan plugins after installing.

QUICK START
----------------------------------------

1. Insert SlushBus on the track you want to level.
2. Route your reference/target signal to SlushBus's sidechain input.
3. Set the Level knob to the desired target loudness relationship.
4. Adjust Attack and Release to taste.
5. Use the Threshold and Knee knobs to control when gain action begins.

The graph display shows input, output, gain envelope, and detector traces
in real time. Toggle each trace using the buttons on the right side of the UI.

LICENSE & ACTIVATION
----------------------------------------

SlushBus runs in demo mode by default. You will hear brief silence
every 45 seconds until a valid license key is entered.

Purchase a license at https://brucejames.studio or via KVR Audio.

To activate: click the license button in the plugin UI, enter your key,
and press Submit. An internet connection is required for activation only.

Your license file is stored here after activation:
  Windows: %APPDATA%\SlushBus\license.json
  macOS:   ~/Library/SlushBus/license.json

TROUBLESHOOTING
----------------------------------------

- If your DAW does not detect the plugin, verify it is in the correct folder
  and perform a manual plugin rescan.
- Some DAWs require a restart after installation.
- If activation fails, check your internet connection and that the license
  key was entered exactly as received (no extra spaces).
